STRUCTURAL-FUNCTIONAL PECULIARITIES OF THE PERSONAL IDENTITY FORMATION

Abstract
The article reveals the main features of the formation of personal identity. The distinction between different aspects of identity has been identified which has gained supporting in the writings of various researchers. Structural-functional analysis is carried out, which considers identity as a structurally divided integrity, in which each element of the structure has its own definite functional significance. It is shown that personal identity is a complex integral entity that undergoes constant influence of psychological, personal and social factors
