CATEGORY “SOCIAL MATURITY”: HISTORIOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEM

Abstract

The article deals with the historiographic analysis of research of the category “social maturity”. The key aspects of studying problems in the modern theory of scientific knowledge have been emphasized. As an independent pedagogical phenomenon, the social maturity of a person is being studied in disparate researches of recent years. Many of them determine only the general features of approaches to studying this phenomenon. At the same time, monographs and dissertations have recently appeared, where the term “social maturity” is used as an independent subject of research. Scientists come from the fact that maturity is an important component of the formation of an individual in the society, it reflects the level of understanding of his personality in society, the level of responsibility in relation to his duties and actions. Further development on this problem has been analyzed and systematized.
