Public relations and journalism are closely linked to each other. Public relation officers greatly depend on the mainstream media for their publicity. There are also instances where the journalists and the public relations practitioners were at war. There has been a fraught relationship between the public relation practitioners and journalists over years. In this scenario, there is a need for finding out what actually journalists opine about the PR and its practices.
