PERFORMANCE COMPARISION & IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF SERVICE IN MOBILE AD-HOC NETWORKS

Abstract

Even without possible interference from external radio sources, the problem of guaranteeing quality-of-service (QoS) in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) is a difficult problem. Difficulties arise because node mobility can cause frequent network topology changes, communication channels can have high error rates, the jitter rate is high and throughputs is very low several different applications can be sharing the use of the communication medium and internet application. In the real-time video and voice on demand is need highly quality of services. The great interest of the commercial application we need the services level Agreement SLA is sometimes used to refer to the contracted delivery time (of the service) or performance. The mobile ad-hoc network is the on of highly useable network where node configuration is node depend on one place. Due to the mobility placement the resources is not used more time of the other network. The quality of service is depends on the different layer for example MAC, Physical Layer, Network layer. Mobile ad-hoc QoS is highly depends on the MAC and Network Layer. In the Network layer the resource is allocated to the nodes and applied the different services to achieve the SLA for example routing protocol and other more. Scheduling and Queue is one of them. In our research work we work on the Quality of Services on the Network layer. Ours analysis is queue and scheduling technique used in the Manets. We also analyse the DiffServ scheduler classes which is play important role to increase the quality of service on the real- time environment.
