Perioperative nursing care of vitrectomy combined with silicone oil filling for children with traumatic endophthalmitis

Abstract
[Objective:] To investigate the perioperative nursing care of vitrectomy combined with silicone oil filling in the treatment for children with traumatic endophthalmitis. [Methods:] The perioperative nursing of 80 children with traumatic endophthalmitis treated with vitrectomy combined with silicone oil filling was retrospectively analyzed. [Results:] All 80 cases were recovered well after careful treatment and nursing care. [Conclusion:] Preoperative nursing care, such as psychological guidance, preoperative observation of vital signs and eye conditions, postoperative guidance on body position, life, diet and discharge, timely identification, and treatment of postoperative complications, contribute to physical and mental recovery.
