PHYSICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL FEATURES OF TITANIUM ALLOY MACHINING
Journal Title: ΛΌГOΣ. МИСТЕЦТВО НАУКОВОЇ ДУМКИ - Year 2019, Vol 1, Issue 2
Abstract
The effective machining of titanium alloys with blade cutting tools requires considering the specific physical and mechanical properties of these materials and the features of their interaction with the tools contact surfaces. Process physical features of machining such materials significantly restrict the use of modern tool materials. For the machining of titanium alloys, it is necessary to use special designs of cutting tools that consider the physical features of cutting processes.
