“PITFALLS” OF CHANGES TO THE CRIMINAL PROCEDURAL CODE OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article reveals the peculiarities of the application of changes made to the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine, the so-called "Lozovoy Amendment" (will come into force on March 16, 2018). The author highlights his own position regarding these changes. It is proposed to amend the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine to eliminate aggravating procedural procedures when applying measures to ensure criminal proceedings, the use of preventive measures, and conducting a search only if the pre-trial investigation body is registered as a legal entity.
