Plastrowanie dynamiczne w dysfagii i dysfonii

Journal Title: Rehabilitacja w Praktyce - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 2

Abstract

Dysphagia, i.e. difficult passage of food from the mouth through the esophagus to the stomach, may be one of the consequences of stroke. The choice of therapeutic treatment depends on the depth and dynamics of the symptoms of dysphagia. Therapy includes various techniques and interactions aimed at improving the safety and functionality of intake, grinding and swallowing food. One of the therapeutic procedures in dysphagia may be dynamic taping. In dysphagia, apart from neurological problems, the disturbances in the oral phase may be caused by a mechanical problem in the temporomandibular joints, which also affect the disturbances of eating, swallowing and speech. Dysphonia is defined as multiform voice disorders, concerning all of its acoustic components, frequency, intensity, duration of phonation and tone. The paper presents the applications of dynamic taping in order to improve delayed swallowing reflex, the temporomandibular joint function and voice emission.
