Abstract
The biography became a controversial book before it even began to appear in bookshops. The review, thus, discusses not only its content, composition and inconsistencies but also potential reasons for the negative response of the protagonist and some of his family. As it turns out, Katarzyna Kubisiowska’s book arouses controversies for several reasons: firstly, it seems to be written mainly to meet the market needs, and secondly, it concerns a person who is close to the author. Above all, however, the book shows the protagonist in a bed light without giving him an opportunity to speak for himself, which is even more poignant in the case of a writer who hides behind the masks of literature. La biographie Pilch w sensie ścisłym est devenue controverse même avant sa publication. L’analyse du texte se concentre sur son contenu problématique, sa composition et ses divers inexactitudes mais aussi sur les raisons possibles de la réaction négative du héros et de ses proches. Le livre de Katarzyna Kubisiowska suscite des discussions pour plusieurs raisons: il semble que le texte soit écrit suite aux besoins du marché, il concerne la biographie de la personne vivante et l’ami de l’auteure. Mais avant tout, c’est un portrait sous un mauvais jour, sans droit de la défense ce qui est particulièrement perceptible dans le cas d’un écrivain qui cache autant ses défauts sous les masques de la littérature.
