Abstract
The poem us a genre of Stepan Rudansky’s creation has been explored in the article. The historical authen- ticity of poems has been exzamined. The poetics of folklore mappings has been deskribed. The influence of folklore on the poet’s poem at the level of content and form has been clarifies. In the article the significans of the poem in the history of ukrainian literature has been determined.
