POLISH TRENDS OF HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM AND MAIN LESSONS FOR UKRAINE

Abstract
Purpose of the article is to highlight the problems and prospects of Ukraine’s education system on the example of public and private forms of educational services in Poland. Methodology of research. The study used general scientific methods, including: analysis and synthesis - to identify common tendencies in the number of students, the number of educational institutions and dependence on the global trends; systematic approach to summarized information on common arrays of data; methods of theoretical generalization - for the theoretical bases of the study; monographic method for the analysis of recent research and scientists publications of selected problems and modeling and forecasting - to determine the main directions of development. Findings. We found general trends in Ukraine and Poland education system, common and different features in the formation of national strategies. We analyzed qualitative and quantitative indicators of development of public and nongovernmental forms studies at Poland and Ukraine, and found common and different features. We presented the main characteristics of the educational market that can be applied in Ukraine. We analyzed the activities of Old Polish university and major trends in private education in Poland. Originality. The scientific novelty consists in the elaboration of conceptual approaches to the formation of advanced types of educational services in Ukraine. Practical value The results of research is the basis for solving practical problems of Ukraine’s education system, and use of Polish experience to formation of various types of educational spaces.
