Political and legal views of Ivan Franko

Abstract
During the period of development of Ukraine, at a time when the law, political science, the judicial system need to be changed, as well as on the occasion of the 160th anniversary of Ivan Franko is a topical study of its public opinion. The article deals with the political and legal views of Ivan Franko National expression of form affirmation ascetics Ukrainian nation, as well as their influence on the development of national identity of Ukrainians. The views of Ivan Franko in the constitution and laws of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, provided a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the political and legal creation of the famous Ukrainian writer from the perspective of public lighting his creative ideas in terms of the independent Ukraine. Ideal for the Franko was Ukrainian independent state of national democracy in the form of the people’s republic.
