Constitutional Provisions on Political Parties in Ukraine

Abstract
The Constitution of Ukraine pays great attention to the political parties, which is typical for a country with a democratic regime. Political parties are mentioned directly or indirectly in the Basic Law norms contained in Chapters I «General Principles», II «Rights, freedoms, duties of man and citizen,» IV «VerkhovnaRada of Ukraine», VIII «Justice» and XII «Constitutional The Court of Ukraine. «The absence of rules on political life and political parties in Chapters III «Elections.Referendum», V «President of Ukraine» and VI «Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine»defined as the lack of the Constitution, and their absence in Chapter XI. «Local government» – on the contrary, as an advantage.
