Abstract
The article is devoted to the clarification of the essence and content of social control and legal order in the philosophical and legal views of Sh.-L. de Montesquieu, J.-J. Russo, Voltaire, B. Spinoza and S. von Pufendorf. The approaches of thinkers to the definition of categories of “social order”, “social control”, “legal order are analyzed”.
