Abstract
The article deals with the social-political processes in the second half of the 1980s in the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea and analyses the great influence of the Soviet society’s crisis on growing off-centrism in the region. The article analyses also the role and the place of the Crimean-tartar people return to its historical homeland and cardinal changes in the Crimea peninsula.
