POLITICAL SCIENCE ASPECTS OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN MODERN UKRAINE

Abstract
The problem of improving the quality of higher education, ensuring the objectives of ensuring the professional competence of political and civic culture of students through deep reforms that aimed to review the conceptual bases of this important area of social relations in Ukraine. Today the state of higher education in Ukrainian society, not the level that is able to ensure those who trained as professional implementation and intellectual maturity. The study focuses on the role of higher worlds forming ability of graduates to adequately respond to political manipulation under severe social and political struggles. The problems of reducing the role of the educational process in the formation of political culture of students. The necessity of an immediate liquidation of the hierarchical nature of governance institutions of higher education and the transition to the use of market mechanisms. Highlights the importance of elimination system «feudal» management principles existing material and moral stimulation of teaching staff. Also, the problems of radical revision of approaches to the development of university research.
