Polonika w Archiwum Instytutu Historii Rosyjskiej Akademii Nauk w Sankt Petersburgu – niezrealizowany projekt

Abstract
Polonica in the Archive of Saint-Petersburg Institute of History of Russian Academy of Sciences – an abandoned project. The article presents results of a query, conducted in 2005 in the fonds of Archive of Saint-Petersburg Institute of History of Russian Academy of Sciences in connection with planned development of a catalogue of polonica preserved in that institution. Unfortunately, that project was never implemented. The plan envisaged, that the first stage of works on the catalogue would cover documents from the so-called Polish chapter of the Western European section. It is approximately 600 documents, grouped in 5 collections (collections No. 29, 30, 31, 32, 33) and two archival fonds (fonds 11 and 12). Materials therein are diverse in terms of institutional provenance, as well as formal, content and chronological aspects, dated from 16th to early 20th century.
