Polymer composites, biocomposites and nanocomposites. Production, composition, properties and application fields

Journal Title: CHEMIK nauka-technika-rynek - Year 2014, Vol 68, Issue 4

Abstract

Polymer composites are modern multi-component materials – recently nanocomposites and biocomposites are of particular interest due to their unique properties. This publication presents general characteristics of polymer composite materials as the background for selected studies carried out in the Faculty of Chemistry of the Opole University in the field of production and characterization of polyolefin composites using various (nano)fillers, both inorganic and of renewable plant origin.
