Abstract
The article treats questions about features of training future teachers of informatics to career guidance of pupils for the IT specialty. In order to ensure the gradual formation of the readiness future teachers of informatics for career guidance in schools, the authors offer special course "Theory and methodology of career guidance of teacher of informatics". The structure of the special course, its objectives and tasks, the subject and content of each module are determined, the expected results are presented in the article. The system of special knowledge and skills is shown. The special course was tested in the process of professionak preparation students of specialty "Informatics" in the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the G. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.
