Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the concept of “legitimate interest” and its role in the implementation by partici- pants of the joint stock companies’ and third parties of actions in the process of reorganization of the joint stock company. The author draws attention to the distinction between the notion of “interest” and “legitimate interest” in the prism of civil legislation and practical realities in the implementation of the procedure for the reorganization of economic societies, with an emphasis on the marching nature of legitimate interest as a driving force for such actions.
