Practice Teacher’s Role in the Process of Students’ Motivation for Professional Activities

Abstract

Professional activities of nurses are not limited by medical care of patients. Social, psychological and educational aspects are very important. The article deals with the role of mentors of practice in the process of motivation of students in their professional activities. The attitude of students towards the planning of practice of professional activities, summation of aspects of practical activities of mentors are presented in the article, the factors influencing the process of motivation of students during practical activities are analyzed. 106 respondents took place in the questionnaire: students of I-IV courses of the study programm of general nursing. The data were processed by SPSS (version 12,0).
