PRELIMINARY FIELD MODEL OF INDUCTION MOTOR SUPPLIED WITH VOLTAGE CONTAINING SUBHARMONICS

Abstract

This work deals with the field modeling of an induction cage machine supplied with voltage containing subharmonics. A preliminary 2D field model implemented in ANSYS Maxwell environment is shown. The effect of disturbance under consideration on the motor supply current is presented for various frequencies of voltage subharmonics. The results of computer simulation and experimental investigations are compared.
