Preparation of one-dimensional nickel nanopowders

Abstract
Self-assembly one-dimensional nickel nanopowders with different diameters and ratio of length to diameter were prepared by soft templates in ethylene glycol solutions. The elements of nickel powders were analyzed by the X-ray diffraction and micro-morphology and size was characterized with scanning electron microscope and field emission scanning electron microscope. The effects of temperature, time and kinds of nickel compounds on preparation were studied. The results showed one-dimensional nickel nanopowders could be prepared in proper conditions at 80℃.
