PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE AS A GUARANTEE OF THE FAIRNESS OF CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS

Abstract
In this publication the presumption of innocence is regarded as a principle-guarantee in criminal proceedings. The content and historical way of forming this principle is determined. Simultaneously justified the necessity to consider the presumption of innocence a component element of the human right to a fair court.
