ПРИМЕНЕНИЕ АНТИКОАГУЛЯНТА СУЛОДЕКСИД-КАК МЕТОД ПРОФИЛАКТИКИ ПРОГРЕССИРОВАНИЯ ДИАБЕТИЧЕСКОЙ РЕТИНОПАТИИ

Abstract
High prevalence and steady increase in the number of patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) allowed us to estimate SD as the largest non-communicable pandemic (U.S. Census Burea, 2000). According to who, the number of patients with diabetes worldwide is projected to increase from 415 million in 2015 to 642 million in 2040. A constant increase in the number of patients with DM inevitably leads to an increase in the frequency of diabetic retinopathy (DR) – one of the most disabling complications of DM [1]. Diabetic retinopathy (DR) – a late-specific microvascular complication of DM, developing, as a rule, sequentially from changes associated with increased permeability and occlusion of retinal vessels to the appearance of newly formed vessels and fibroglial tissue, leading ultimately to blindness. The main task of ophthalmologists is to prevent new cases of blindness by carrying out pathogenetically justified treatment, carried out in close contact with endocrinologists and therapists and aimed at restoring and maintaining retinal homeostasis and preventing the progression of DR, while compensating the main process.
