Abstract
The article is devoted to the reflection of the principle of non-discrimination in the documents of the United Nations and the Council of Europe. The legal acts of these organizations were analyzed. The author concludes that the main documents were developed within their framework. The documents have become an example for the states in implementation of the policies of non-discrimination. The United Nations and the Council of Europe have helped consolidate the principle of non-discrimination as a fundamental.
