Abstract
Features of teaching activity in the 21st century are considered. The value of educating content, adapted to real life and professional situations, is stressed out. The problem of ethics and values system is emphasized. The task of reflecting over moral and ethical values is pointed out in order to identify the key ones for the modern educational process. The need for an inventory of the system of ethical values of teachers is identified. The necessity of forming the information and technical skills for teaching in modern conditions is indicated. The tips necessary for the effective teaching in the online environment are presented.
