ВСТУПНА КАМПАНІЯ ДО ВИШІВ: РИЗИКИ ФОРМУВАННЯ СТУДЕНТСЬКОГО КОНТИНГЕНТУ

Abstract
It is an indisputable fact, that the main goal of admissions process to higher educational establishments is that qualitative and also quantitative (in conditions of ‘a demographic hole’) student cohort is developed. At the same time, modernization of admissions processes to higher educational establishments allows to speak about possible risks of developing the student cohort. Risks of admissions process include: organizational risks, informational risks, technical risks, ‘false start’ risks while choosing a profession, a higher educational establishment or a faculty. Such risks arise due to annual changes in admission regulations and their technologization, tendering and matriculation, development problems of admission boards, dramatic changes in the course of professional choice by applicants themselves, and also deformation of vocational guidance activity, when instead of providing complete information on the specificity of a certain profession, a higher educational establishment is being popularized with the aim of attracting applicants. Failures and risks of admissions processes are centered around social issues, as they may cause a certain negative public uproar and may prevent young people’s effective vocational training. In particular, we mean risks of mutual expectations of teachers and students as main subjects of studying processes, when their contacts are distanced enough already at the point of admissions process, which further may lead to lowering the quality of studying process.
