Probabilistic modeling of physical damage processes of fiber-reinforced composite plates under dynamic loading
Journal Title: Вісник Тернопільського національного технічного університету - Year 2016, Vol 82, Issue 2
Abstract
Probabilistic material model for strength analysis of a composite taking into account the evolution of damage of bonds between its structural elements based on the analysis of physical damage processes of the internal structure of composites and considered earlier phenomenological model of impact in collision velocity range from 20 to 1500 m/s was proposed. The comparison of results obtained by other authors was done against experimental data for the case of tension of a fiber-reinforced material at strain rates from 0,441 to 44,1 s-1.

Structure-forming and destructive role of cracks in life cycle of construction-system [in Ukrainian].
Practically in all build constructions there are active elements in the form of cracks and inner surfaces of partition which predetermine structural changes of material of construction-systems. A driving force of spontan...
Influence of residual strain on the contact interaction of a hard punch and elastic semi-space
Calculating the strength of structural elements and mechanisms is one of the most important stages in the process of their design. As it is known [2], residual deformation is almost always available in the structural ele...
Determination of vibrodiagnostic parameters of the breathing crack presence in the beam structural elements of different cross sections
This paper is concerned with the determination of the regularities in the influence of a “breathing” crack on the vibration characteristics of beam structural elements with a different cross-sectional shape. The forced v...
Effect of binder with nano Ni on mechanicalproperties of TiC based hard alloys
Titanium carbide based hard alloys with nickel-chromium binder possess high hardness, wear and heat resistance. In order to improve physical and mechanical properties of alloys the polycarbide basis TiC-5WC-5NbC and Ni (...
The quasistatics thermal stress analysis in coated half-space with mixed boundary heating conditions
Analysis of thermal stresses in bodies with coatings is important for many engineering researches. Taking into account the actual operating conditions of these structures frequently leads to mixed heating condition. The...
