ПРОБЛЕМА БЕДНОСТИ: АЛЬТЕРНАТИВНЫЕ ВЗГЛЯДЫ НА ЕЕ УСТОЙЧИВОСТЬ

Abstract
Social-economic inequality and poverty always were and still remain as a problem that in more or less degree are faced all countries all over the World. Given paper considers two opposite approaches toward explanations of poverty and inequality issues. One of these approaches (M.Friedman, F.A. von Hayek, J.D.Sachs, etc.) is the most common and based on the views of the orthodox economics. According to this approach, a liberal economic policy and endorsement of D.Ricardo’s free trade concept are the most effective way to overcome a poverty and achieve prosperity. According to other approach (G.Myrdal, J.E.Stiglitz, and E.S.Reinert) the laissez-faire policy increases economic weakness, dippers social-economic differentiation, and generates poverty growth. Poverty in the developing and transitive countries could be considered as a result of unstable and imperfect system of economic and political institutions, exposure of so-called imperfections of market, etc. Therefore, a reasonable protectionist policy seems to be most appropriate to overcome poverty in these countries.
