ПРОБЛЕМИ РЕАЛІЗАЦІЇ ПРАВ ДИТИНИ В УМОВАХ СУЧАСНОЇ УКРАЇНИ

Abstract
This article deals with the problems of protection and defense of child’s rights which are extremely relevant in the epoch of globalization processes for all countries of the world. At the present stage for Ukraine, which has got on the path of legal state forming, one of the priorities in this area is not only creation of national legal framework that would fully meet international standards, but also formation of appropriate mechanism to protect the child’s rights, ensuring the realization of the rights of each child. The article will contain statistical data that testify numerous violations of child’s rights in our country, and prove the problem scale which has become extremely acute at the current stage due to socio-economic crisis and military events in the Donbas. Attention is drawn to the fact that there is a need to improve Ukrainian legislation, forms and methods of activity and public authorities and local governments, the public, educational institutions, coordinate their work, and introduce positive foreign experience in the field of child’s rights protection. The article points out that the most problematic remain the complex system of protecting the child’s rights, clear distribution of functional responsibilities between various state bodies in this area, effective mechanisms for responding to violations of the child’s rights, violations of the child’s right to family, punitive attitudes towards parents, who find themselves in a difficult life situation instead of helping them. Attention is given to the fact that despite the significant list of child’s rights enshrined in legislation, and significant number of persons in Ukraine who deal with children, the child’s rights are violated very often, a child is viewed as an object of influence but not as a subject of family and social life.
