Abstract
The article is devoted to problems of the institute of acquisition of limitation under the civil legislation of Ukraine. The basic provisions related to prescription are analyzed and determined. The jurisprudence has been investigated and practical problems of the application of prescription period have been determined. It is concluded that the exact understanding of the institute of prescription and its features is the basis of competent development of law practice, and at the same time civil legal relations.
