PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF ECONOMIC CLUSTERS FINANCIAL PROVISON IN UKRAINE

Abstract
Purpose. Development of a framework for the economic clusters funding, clarification of the main sources of funding, identifying key issues of funding clusters in Ukraine and outline prospects for further research towards financial security of economic clusters in Ukraine. Methodology of research. The study used the following research methods: systematic and structural analysis - to determine the nature of the cluster concept; analysis and synthesis, which helped to develope the general scheme of the economic cluster in Ukraine; analytical and graphical methods, which allowed to visualize the main potential sources of funding for economic clusters in Ukraine. Findings. It was found that the main problem of financial security of economic clusters in Ukraine is the lacks of legal framework of cluster initiatives, which lead to existing clusters in the country do not meet international standards, because it does not fall within the definition of a conceptual cluster. Based on the analysis of economic clusters functioning in Ukraine and the expanded definition of the concept of cluster general scheme of the cluster is developed. Grounded scheme of funding sources for regional socio-economic development, in which cluster funding sources allocated. Originality. Complex approach to economic cluster scheme development and analysis of all present socio-economic development funding schemes is used. Practical value. Results of the study can be used to develop local and national development programs, also can be used by consulting firms, cluster agencies and businesses wishing to enhance the overall effectiveness on the basis of joint efforts.
