Abstract
The article investigates the innovative potential of maritime regions of Ukraine. The effectiveness of the innovative activity is evaluated and the problems existing in the innovative sphere are identified. A range of measures to strengthen the innovative potential of the maritime regions and the effectiveness of its use is proposed.
