PROBLEMS OF DEFINITION OF THE CONCEPT OF NATIONAL SECURITY AND DEFENSE OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article dedicated to modern approaches to a term “hybrid warfare” in the context of updating of domestic national legislation of Ukraine (in the defense sphere) according to the requirements of the present. Based on the analysis, possible solutions were offered to the abovementioned legislative gaps in the system of main views on the causes, essence and nature of contemporary military conflicts. The necessity for amending the doctrinal provisions regarding the decision-making and implementation of military policy was justified, for instance, to introduce the concept of “hybrid warfare” into the Military Doctrine of Ukraine as the basis for the development of specific programs commensurate with the components of national security policy.
