Problems of implementation of international standards for the prevention of domestic violence in Ukraine

Abstract
This article explores the implementation of international standards for the prevention of domestic violence in Ukraine by the state structures and special status of the National Police units as a necessary and effective guarantee of the rights of victims of domestic violence. The legal principles of prevention and counteraction to domestic violence at the national level were analyzed, introduction of new forms and methods of activity of police officers aimed at the prevention, detection and suppression of domestic violence were surveyed. The main directions of work of the new unit of preventive activity of the Polina National Police, aimed at preventing and combating domestic violence, were reviewed. The grounds and the procedure of application of special measures for prevention of domestic violence, especially their implementation in national legislation were explored. It is investigated the bases and an order of application of special measures on prevention of domestic violence, feature of their implementation in the national legal system. Are selected statistical data of officially registered facts of domestic violence, generally statistics of the issued administrative decrees, official warnings and accounting, concerning the persons who committed domestic violence in family. Conclusions of rather specific measures of system improvement of prevention and counteraction to domestic violence in Ukraine are by results developed
