PROBLEMS OF PROVISION OF THE RIGHT OF HIV-INFECTED PATIENT FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

Abstract
The article presents analysis of the regulatory framework for protection against any discrimination, the right to social security and care, medical care in the event of illness or disability of all categories of citizens without exception are carried out. Further development of Ukraine is impossible without the creation of guarantees for the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of patients, without providing conditions for the effective functioning of civil society. As the results of many scientific studies show, the entire history of mankind is the history of the struggle for human rights and freedoms. It is the state of human rights and freedoms that is the determining indicator of humanity, civilization, the culture of any society and its state. Therefore, the problem of legal provision of patients’ rights in Ukraine has been and remains extremely relevant (especially in relation to patients, who are HIV-infected), which, unfortunately, remains unresolved in national medical and legal practice.
