PROCEDURE FOR OPTIMAL CHOICE OF MERCHANT SHIP MACHINERY PLANT STRUCTURE

Abstract
Procedure of structure optimisation for designing of ship machinery plant and example of implementation has been described. The transportation efficiency of ship has been used as a criterion of optimisation. The fault tree method and Boole'a algebry has been used to resolve the problem.
