Procurement: new roles and instruments of implementation

Abstract
This paper covers the questions of the strategy development for the procurement system’s transformation. Procurement is considered as the function of logistics as an integrated concept of material flow management and function of supply chain management as an integrated concept of relationship management between supply chain members as well as the center of concentration the company profits. It’s also provides the ground for "e-procurement" concept as a tool for realization of the procurement system’s transformation objectives.
