Product organisation in a company of hotel sector

Abstract

Present world, surrounded by greater complexity, creates new challenges for managers of companies from the hotel sector. We are the witnesses of market changes under the pressure of political, economic, technical and social conditions. Companies, institutions, organisations also undergo the changes according to the essence of cooperation and competition. The appearing terms such as: information age, knowledge economy, era of intermittence situate the hotel sector in a new way. The processes of globalisation and internationalisation of economic activities demand from hotel services producers the ability to compete with more and more demanding clients' sector. The aim of this paper is the product organisation analysis in a company of hotel sector including bigger client's expectations as far as service quality level is concerned, which results from constantly growing client's demand of the service users and the complexity of surrounding it competitive environment. As an area of the analysis the author has chosen Bukovina hotel - the luxurious four-star complex situated at the foot of the snowy Tatras located in Bukowina Tatrzańska community. The author has used the secondary sources to run the above analysis.
