Abstract
The article deals with the problem of professional and applied physical training of students of pedagogical specialties as a component of the process of physical education in higher education institutions. The problem of physical education of students of pedagogical specialties at the high school, in particular the problem of vocational and physical training of primary school teachers, is analyzed.
