PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE TEACHERS IN THE CONTEXT OF ETHNOCULTURAL PARADIGM

Abstract
Іn the article, the urgency of the issue of ethno-cultural education of future teachers during their training in higher educational institution is substantiated and the essence of the concepts of «ethnocultural education», «ethnocultural competence» of future specialists is revealed. The purpose of the article is to reveal the essence of the problem of training future teachers in the context of ethnocultural paradigm. Formation of a new educational paradigm in the Ukrainian society occurs in the terms of increasing influence of ethnic and cultural factors. The teacher has to be the bearer of his/her own ethnonational culture and guide cultural heritage of ethnic groups and nations. Students’ mastering the elements of ethnic culture makes it possible to generate ethnocultural competence. Ethnocultural competence is the commitment to mutual understanding and cooperation, based on knowledge and experience gained in the real life aimed at their successful adaptation to a multi-ethnic society. Professional training of future teachers in the context of ethno-cultural paradigm should be focused on the following activities at the university, as solution of educational problems, modelling fragments of educational activities, business games, auctions of ethnology ideas, improvisation contests and seminars, ethno-pedagogical scientific and methodical conferences. Young scientists are devoted to the issues of ethno-cultural education and include its content in education system of knowledge about culture and life of ethnic groups.
