Abstract
The article provides a brief bio-bibliographic review of the life and creative path of the distinguished Ukrainian lawyer Fyodor Ivanovich Leontovich. It analyzes its contribution to the historical and legal science, attracts attention to the vision of a number of upto-date urgent problems of the state-law-making process.
