Profilaktyka w wychowaniu wczesnoszkolnym — nowe wyzwania

Abstract
Prevention in Early School Education: New challenges The ongoing dispute and new projects of transitions in the educational system in Poland lead to the discussion on the problems of school prevention system which currently does not meet social expectations. School is a place where all the problems experienced by young generations are faced: risky behaviors, antisocial behaviors and unhealthy habits are observed as soon as primary schools. Violence, aggression, school mobbing, cyberbullying and hatred are the phenomena which are extending also among students from primary schools. With development of information technology, new forms of electronic aggression and cyberbullying emerged, including flaming (aggressive conversations in social media), cyberviolence (regular sending of unpleasant messages to the victim), phishing (pretending to have an identity of a victim), publication of secrets, cyberstalking (tracking, stalking and harassing a person with messages), happy slapping (provoking and attacking a victim for the purpose of recording a video or photograph and sharing them in social media or on the internet). According to a survey conducted by the Institute for Educational Research in 2015, 14% of 11-years-old students have experienced violence at school, with this percentage being 11% among children aged 13. Therefore, the problems of early school prevention are especially important and schools face new challenges to solve these dangerous phenomena.
