Abstract
The Means of Expression and Musical Perception of Children in Early School Age The article describes the means of expression and musical perception as well as the various forms of musical activity of children in music classes. The authors pay attention to the important concepts of music education, but also discuss in detail each of these forms. As an alternative proposition, they offer musical radio broadcasts. The types (forms) of children’s music activity presented in the article are the basis of every music lessons. Each teacher organizing the education process should remember the principle of grading difficulties, systematization of material, spiral layout of content. Radio music broadcasts in the Polish Radio 92 were a good example of the Krakow strategy to develop music, musicality, sensitivity and positive motivation in music in children.
