Abstract

Magical Reflections of Reality. The Meaning of Fairy Tales in the Children Education Fairy tales that have been in use for centuries in the form of oral transmission with myths and biblical parables have built the foundations of human consciousness. They have accumulated dreams, desires and experiences of many generations. In today’s global reality of the Internet and the ubiquitous media do these fanciful stories continue to play an important role in the upbringing of the young generation? In this article I attempt to answer this question, referring to the origins, functions, structure and significance of this genre in the process of socialization and education. Then I will describe the motifs and contents contained therein, through which universal values and ways of resolving the eternal problems of man are transmitted. According to the assumptions made on the basis of the literature of the subject, I will focus on defining the role of fairy tales in the process of promoting development: the moral, emotional and social of pre-school and early child which is the subject of educational activities.
