PROMULGATION OF NON-FINANCIAL REPORTING BY UKRAINIAN ENTERPRISES

Abstract
The article reviews the history of the non-financial report in the world and Ukraine. The essence and meaning of the concept of «non-financial reporting» is investigated, the main approaches to its definition are summarized. The dynamics of the compilation and presentation of non-financial reporting by Ukrainian companies, as well as the level of disclosure of financial statement indicators and transparency of published information are analyzed. In terms of making non-financial reports and their promulgation some leading enterprises in the in the sectors of the Ukrainian economy have been identified. The advantages and risks of using non-financial reporting are described. The necessity of forming a non-financial report of enterprises for the possibility of their effective functioning on the world market, attracting investors, etc. is substantiated.
