Propozycja modelu badań funkcjonalności serwisów WWW bibliotek cyfrowych opartego na zasadach architektury informacji

Abstract
The methodology of assessing the quality of digital libraries is in the stage of formation and development. Such studies can apply evaluation criteria prepared to analyze all kinds of information systems and most of all web pages. One of the most synthetic work on planes and assessment elements is work of Tefko Saračević 2004. An important aspect of the evaluation of digital libraries is their study from the point of view of the users. Sets criteria for such an assessment prepared, among others, Robert J. Sandusky and Hong Iris Xie. A large contribution to the preparation of methodical evaluation of the quality of digital libraries were publications and standards issued under the auspices of international organizations and institutions library. In this article I assert that the information architecture in digital libraries plays a key role. The principles and standards applied in this fi eld can provide useful criteria for assessing the quality of these resources. I try to present a draft model of such research, and an example of its use. I think that this way the research can be a good complement to other assessment models and to the functionality of websites of these systems
