Abstract
The aim of this article is to present the possibilities offered by the Internet (and particularly Internet forums) in librarianship research. The purpose of the study is to bring an answer to the question: what is the image of librarians as a professional group projected by the Internet users? The author analyzes the statements made by members of the Internet forum "Books" on the Gazeta.pl portal.
