Kolekcja pergaminów ze zbiorów Litewskiej Biblioteki Narodowej im. Martynasa Mažvydasa

Abstract
The Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania is comprised of 151 valuable items. The major part of the collection found its way to the Library in the years 1946-1947. Historical documents of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania contain 65 items, covering the period from 1465 to 1818. Manuscripts have been written in Latin, Ruthenian and Polish. The major part consists of the charters of the kings of Poland and grand dukes of Lithuania (42 items). The collection also contains letters issued to Lithuanian nobilities, church superiors, charters of the magistrate of Vilnius and extracts from different books of acts. Popes' letters consist of 20 papal bullas, 13 briefs and 2 letters issued by institutions of the Catholic Church (dated 1477-1899). Most of the documents were addressed to Italian dioceses. 3 bullas and 9 briefs were adressed to the diocese of Vilnius and the Žemaitian diocese. The collection contains 25 documents (dated 1329–1771) connected with the history of Italy. 14 pieces of historical French documents, dated 1640–1811, and 4 Russian documents, dated 1819-1837, remain in this collection. The other important documents kept in The Martynas Mažvydas National Library are the only copy of a treatise by Hugo de Folieto De claustro animae, dated from the 14th century, as well as fragments from medieval treatises in Latin, liturgical manuscript books and other.
